Apply Now for In Company Training Grants ...

I would like to inform you that the network is now accepting applications for grant funding from member companies for in-company training.

Due to budget cuts and a reduction in the percentage of our overall training budget that can be used for in-company training (reduced to 15% from 25%) the total amount available for 2012 is €113K. This amount includes both grant funding and matching funding.

Note: max grant available for in-company funding is 25%

The total amount spent on In-company training in 2011 was in the region of €180K, therefore I expect there to be significant over demand for this funding and early submission of applications is recommended.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 13th February.

1st Programme in Ireland on Sustainable Finance

The Summit Finuas Network in association with DCU Business School and the Green IFSC Initiative have developed the first accredited postgraduate programme of its kind in Ireland subject to accrediation ratification.

"This innovative programme has been developed by DCU academics and leading industry professionals who want to further develop their skills to work with sustainable financial vehicles and develop sustainable investment solutions.

It will also be invaluable to those who are developing sustainability projects for investment and funding." Steven Falci, Chairman Sustainable Finance Certificate Industry Development Group, Head of Strategy Development - Sustainable Investment, Kleinwort Benson Investors

The programme will commence in early October and will take place on approximately one Friday & Saturday a month in DCU, Dublin. Please click here.

Network Members Briefing

The network would is hosting a members breakfast briefing on the 17th February 2011 from 8.15 am to 9.30 am. The briefing will take place in Clarion Hotel, IFSC, Dublin 1.

Panel of Training Providers for 2011

The Network is currently carrying out a tender process for the establishment of a training panel. The objective of this RFP is to establish a panel of qualified training providers, from which companies will be selected to participate in a mini competition tender process for delivery of various training programmes (short and in company) for the Summit Finuas Network and it member companies as specific needs arise. All tenders submitted will be evaluated and providers must score above 70% to become members of the network's panel. Potential Training Providers need to click on the following link and register their interest in the tender. Once they have registered their interest, they will be emailed our supporting information document which contains the requirements of this tender.
